| Marmoler (stuk voor de kust van Cala Montgo)
The wreck known as ''marmoler'' lies in 42 metres and therefore suitable for experienced divers only. In fact the name of the boat is Avvenire, the name ''marmoler'' simply referring to the fact that it sank with a cargo of marble. Sitting upright on the bottom, the wreck is 45 metres in length and remains largely intact. Sunk in 1971, the marmoler contains huge slabs of marble in the hold, which is easily accessed due to the absence of remaining deck. Also intact is the bridge, which rises to 30 metres.
Several dive centres run boats to the marmoler, but you can locate it using the following GPS co-ordinates: 42�N 06',48'' 03�E11'85''
You should be aware that GPS systems are accurate to �10 metres and that in 40 metres of water that error may not allow you to find the wreck.
