Your chance to spot some of the rare orange coral still found around
Playa Chica.
This dive can be started from Playa Chica beach or from the jetty
steps. From the bay we surface swim out to the end where we make
a free descent to approximately 12 metres. Following the sand slope
down, we have chance to explore the area and look out for the
famous George the Grouper before reaching the cliff wall between 20
30 metres. As we follow the wall along take a look into the deep
blue for resting groupers and gliding angel sharks and rays. Amber
jacks, Tuna, Barracuda can all be spotted throughout this area.
As the cliff starts to drop off we ascend slightly and hidden under one
of many overhangs you will find a protected piece of orange coral.
We return over the sand bed on the top of the cliff, where we have
chance to explore the shallower cliff areas before making our ascent
back up the sand slope to start out safety stop.
This dive is suitable for Advanced divers only. Maximum depth
