Het wrak is 57,6 meter lang, 4,1 meter breed en 4,6 meter hoog. U-31 (Cmdr. Wachendorff, IV Flotilla) was destroyed by a mine in January 1915 in the North Sea and all 31 crew were lost. It looks like this wreck was found as an unknown submarine in 2012 and identified in 2015, 100 years later
