Kuda Giri is a spectacular diving site located off the coast of the South Male atoll in the
archipelago of Maldives. The dive site boasts a vibrant array of marine creatures
including colourful clusters of corals and a variety of reef fish and crustaceans.Read on
to know more about this amazing site.The Kuda Giri wreck is an artificial reef
deliberately made by sinking a freight ship. It is now home to an impressive array of
sponges, corals and reef dwelling creatures. The site is composed of the shipwreck and
a pinnacle. There are no dangerous currents around the reef and there are pathways
to navigate inside the wreck too.The wreck site is home to a menagerie of marinelife
some of them are sponges corals, glassfish, clownfish, gobies,Batfish, shrimp, lionfish
and seahorses. There is also a pretty good opportunity of spotting sea turtles,octopi,
manta rays, eels, and even whale sharks.
